CHILDREN

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

Vision & Mission

Who We Serve

At Calvary Mt. Si, our vision is that each child and family would have a personal encounter with the gospel and person of Jesus Christ. Whether we supervise, teach, assist, or hold precious babies, it is to the end of shining Jesus' love to the Calvary Mt. Si community, the surrounding Snoqualmie Valley and beyond. As we live out the Gospel ourselves, we hope to plant seeds of the truth of God's Word toward genuine heart change by the Holy Spirit, not simply outward conformity. May the Lord Jesus be glorified throughout all we do!

As Children's Ministry servants, our mission is to exemplify God in word, tone and action;
encourage children to act out of love, not out of duty;
teach the Word so it is imprinted in the hearts and minds of our students;
convey the need for a savior to atone for our sin;
encourage children to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior;
 and to share their love for Jesus in the world.

The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered Bible study that looks at the big picture of God's story - the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

All age groups from toddler to 5th grade study the same scripture at the same time, with material adapted for each comprehension level.

If you would like to join what the children are studying at the adult level, please check out this Adult Personal Study from The Gospel Project (e-book version also available).

Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. With over 42,000 boys engaged in more than 1,400 Troops nationwide, male mentors guide boys through a character-building experience. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, our objective is to help boys grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.

Adventure is the heart of the Trail Life USA program. Acknowledging boys’ love for hiking, camping, fishing, tree-climbing, story-telling, and s’mores around campfires, weekly meetings are held outside whenever possible and are designed to delight the raucous, rowdy, unruly nature of a boy. Trailmen engage in hands-on experiences that develop character, deepen faith, and hone practical skills.
